Who are you?As a Psychology major and Environmental Studies minor, I have developed an interest in behavioural insights and their implications for policy and interventions in education, public health, and sustainability.
Why Psychology?I am interested in understanding individuals and society. Within the social sciences, I am fascinated by the types of biological, cognitive, and sociocultural questions that Psychology grapples with. I am also interested in the different methods it employs, which range from field observations and interviews to controlled experiments and physiological study. This allows for an extremely rich, balanced, and applicable understanding of the individual and society.
Favourite Psychology concept/study?Sternberg’s Triangular Theory of Love.
What are your other interests?Outside of nerding out over psychology, I enjoy playing the guitar, basketball, writing, and eating good food with good company!
